Registration & Tuition
The Napa Valley Youth Symphony remains committed to providing the best music education possible while keeping tuition costs some of the lowest in Northern California. While other youth symphonies’ tuitions are often twice the tuition of the Napa Valley Youth Symphony, we are still happy to provide high-level coaching each week with professional musicians and coaches, internationally renowned masterclass teachers and visiting conductors, a chamber music program, a retreat, field trips, a concerto competition, and exciting tours.
Tuition for the 2019-2020 Youth Symphony season is $700 and Sinfonia tuition $600 with a $100 discount for families with two or more musicians in our program. Tuition is due in late summer with an option to pay in two installments (July/January).
Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
Napa Valley Youth Symphony is committed to creating an organization that values diversity, equity and inclusion and offers unlimited full tuition and lesson scholarships. Cost should never be a barrier to participation.
Tuition Assistance and Lesson Scholarships
We offer need-based tuition assistance and lesson scholarships. Applicants must submit a completed application form, and a brief letter explaining circumstances for assistance. Applications are due in late summer and then submitted confidentially to the board for approval in October.
Once you are accepted to the program you will receive an email with a link to registration. You will also be asked to submit medical and media release forms, and acknowledgement of the handbook.
