Registration & Tuition

The Napa Valley Youth Symphony is committed to providing the best music enrichment program in Northern California. While other youth symphonies’ tuitions are often twice the tuition of the Napa Valley Youth Symphony, we provide high-level coaching with professional musicians and coaches, internationally renowned masterclass teachers and visiting conductors, a chamber music program, a retreat, field trips, a concerto competition, and exciting tours.

 

Tuition for the 2026/2027 Season

  • Notes Program - $300.00
  • Sinfonia Strings and Winds - $450.00
  • Bridge Ensemble - $850.00
  • Youth Symphony - $1,000.00
  • NVYS Strings and Winds Chamber Ensemble - $350.00*  (*Open to Youth Symphony members only.)

 

Discounts 

  • 10% off with Early Bird Registration by August 1, 2026.
  • 10% off discount for families with two or more musicians in our programs.

 

Flexible Payment Plans 

  • Pay for Tuition in three installments starting starting as early as July 15th, 2026.

 

Tuition iNCLUDES:

  • Enriching music education programs through ensemble rehearsals and live performances
  • Ensemble Rehearsals or NOTES Group Coaching Sessions
  • Hard Copy of Repertoire for Concert Cycle
  • Online Access to Music for Concert Cycle and Practice Tracks
  • Select Sectional Coaching during the Season
  • One (1) NVYS T-Shirt - Additional and/or lost shirts can be purchased HERE

 

Tuition is due in late summer with an option to pay in three installments (July, August and September). Partial tuition scholarships are available for current members of NVYS based on financial need. (Please note: Prospective musicians do not qualify for scholarships until they have auditioned and are accepted into one of our ensembles.)

NVYS is committed to creating an organization that values diversity, equity and inclusion. We offer tuition and lesson scholarships based on financial-need to student musicians accepted into one of our ensembles. We believe that cost should never be a barrier to participation.

 

Tuition and Lesson SCHOLARSHIPS

We offer partial tuition and lesson scholarships based on financial-need to student musicians accepted into one of our ensembles. The number of available scholarships is subject to funding. Applicants must submit a completed scholarship application - partially submitted applications will not be considered. Scholarship Applications open June 1st  and remain open throughout season as funding permits.

(Please note: Prospective musicians do not qualify for scholarships until they have successfully auditioned and accepted placement into one of our ensembles.)
