Notes Program
ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
An introductory group coaching program for beginning strings, brass, and woodwind players. NOTES focuses on building strong foundational music skills, technique, and ensemble readiness — in a supportive, fun environment.
NOTES Level 1.
Proper posture and setup, tuning, 1-octave major scales, reading rhythms and note names. Uses 'I Can Read Music' Vol. 1 and Essential Elements Vol. 1 (up to #92).
No audition required.
NOTES Level 2.
Reinforces setup and bow grip. Completes Essential Elements Vol. 1. Introduces 4th fingers, low 2nd fingers, minor scales, slurs, staccato, and hooked bowing.
Requires recommendation from NOTES Level 1 coach.
