Napa Valley Youth Symphony’s 15th Annual Red Gala celebrates the fabulous sounds and flavors of New Orleans in an unparalleled evening of wine, food, and music. This year the youth symphony is thrilled to welcome renowned trombone and trumpet player Delfeayo Marsalis of legendary the Marsalis family fame. VIP guests will be treated to Cajun cuisine by Chef Bob Hurley, best-of-the-best Napa wines, signature cocktails, and an energy-filled live auction – all to support the invaluable music education offered by Napa Valley Youth Symphony. You won’t want to miss Delfeayo Marsalis, accompanied by the talented youth of NVYS, hitting the stage for a hot set of jazz standards from the Big Easy.
One of the top trombonists, composers and producers in jazz today, known for his “technical excellence, inventive mind and frequent touches of humor…” - Leonard Feather, Los Angeles Times
“…one of the best, most imaginative and musical of the trombonists of his generation.” - Philip Elwood, San Francisco Examiner
