Peggy Brady
Peggy Brady is currently the Assistant Concertmaster of the Napa Valley Symphony and Principal Second Violin of the Marin Symphony. She is also first violin of the Eloquence String Quartet. Many of her private students are performing with the Napa Youth Symphony and Sinfonia. She enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for music with young people and has coached them in styles ranging from summer fiddle camps to beethoven string quartets.
Peggy began her musical studies at the age of 5 with piano and began violin lessons at age 10 after hearing a high school string quartet perform for her 4th grade class. She has studied violin performance at Rutgers University, the Hochschule fuer Musik in Vienna, and Arizona State University. She has been a member of the Phoenx Symphony, the Goettinger Symphonie, the orchestra of the Staatstheater Braunschweig in Germany, and has performed with the Santa Rosa Symphony, Diablo Ballet, and California Symphony. She has been featured as a soloist twice with the Marin Symphony.
