Registration & Tuition

 

The Napa Valley Youth Symphony is committed to providing the best music enrichment program in Northern California. While other youth symphonies’ tuitions are often twice the tuition of the Napa Valley Youth Symphony, we provide high-level coaching with professional musicians and coaches, internationally renowned masterclass teachers and visiting conductors, a chamber music program, a retreat, field trips, a concerto competition, and exciting tours.

 

Tuition for the 2023-24 Season

  • Youth Symphony - $750.00
  • Sinfonia Ensemble - $650.00
  • NVYS Strings Chamber Ensemble - Fee Pending Announcement 
  • NVYS Bridge Ensemble - Fee Pending Announcement
  • Sibling Discount - We offer a $100 discount for families with two or more musicians in our programs.

 

A registration fee per family of $50.00 will be collected at with tuition starting in 2023/2024. This fee is non-refundable.

Tuition is due in late summer with an option to pay in two installments (August/December). Full and partial tuition scholarships are available for current members of NVYS based on financial need. (Please note: Prospective musicians do not qualify for scholarships until they have auditioned and are accepted into one of our ensembles.)

Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion

Napa Valley Youth Symphony is committed to creating an organization that values diversity, equity and inclusion and offers tuition and lesson scholarships. Cost should never be a barrier to participation.

 

Tuition Assistance and Lesson Scholarships

We offer full and partial tuition/private lesson scholarships based on financial need. Applicants must submit a completed application form with required documentation and a brief letter explaining circumstances for assistance. Tuition/Private Lesson Scholarship Applications are due by September 1st.

Once you are accepted to the program you will receive an email with a link to registration. You will also be asked to submit medical and media release forms, and acknowledgement of the handbook. (Please note: Prospective musicians do not qualify for scholarships until they have auditioned and are accepted into one of our ensembles.)
